SHIPPING AND RETURNS INFORMATION
SHIPPING:
We use FedEx and An Post as our postal delivery services and we ship daily from our stores in the West of Ireland.
Please note that Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not the responsibility of Aran Islands Knitwear.
Following a directive from the US government from the 29th of August 2025, all goods entering the USA now have taxes applied, the previous de minimis of below $800 no longer applies. There is no change to letters and documents, they can be sent as normal.
From the 29th of August, it will be up to the sending country/provider to collect the taxes from the receiving customer in the USA before any goods can enter and be delivered in the USA.
RETURNS:
If you would like to return an item then please contact us via e-mail at info@aranislandsknitwear.com within 7 days of receiving your order with a short explanation of the reason for your return. We will then send an email issuing you with instructions for returning the purchase. Please note that we can only issue refunds or exchanges on items that are received by us within 10 working days of the email sent to you.
All items must be unworn and unwashed with tags attached. We will not be able to accept items that don’t meet these criteria.
Returned items will only be credited to the account used to originally purchase the items. If returning from outside of the European Union, we are not liable for any customs, duties or fees that may be imposed when the package is being returned to us. With exchanges, your new item will be shipped to you as soon as we receive your return package and any additional payment which may be required.
We strongly recommend that you return the parcel using a signed delivery service that insures you for the full value of the goods as we are unable to refund any goods lost or damaged in transit.
